Black Americans have played a leading role in building the United States, not just its physical foundation, but a cultural legacy that shapes the world. From music to fashion to art, the impact is undeniable and global. Black Americans have always had their boots on the ground.
Think about music: jazz, blues, rock & roll, and even country all trace back to Black innovators who changed the soundscape forever. This year, Boots on the Ground became more than a song – it became an anthem. It’s a celebration of Black life, a reminder that even in hard times, we know how to adapt, rise, and keep moving forward. 803 Fresh carried that spirit with style, continuing the rich tradition of Southern soul, blues, and line dancing not as something to be forgotten, but reimagined and celebrated.
